HELPING VETERANS GROW AND HEAL

 About the Veterans Garden

60510957 2331204450492530 8535284448873152512 n

We provide a gardening and social opportunity for veterans to come together and overcome the wounds of war by sowing seeds and relationships.

Some of our veterans suffer terribly from the lasting but silent effects of war. These individuals may find solace and peace in our tranquil garden. Through the efforts of our community, supporters and volunteers we can support, encourage, and cultivate change in our veterans and ourselves.

PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING TO OUR VETERANS GARDEN. THE HELP YOU PROVIDE COULD SAVE A LIFE.
We are a registered 501 (c) (3) non profit run entirely by volunteers and other veterans.

Our Mission

The founder of Veterans Garden, Inc., Anne Marie Mucci knows all too well the impact this can have. "I have personally seen the devastation and despair this debilitating condition can have on our returning soldiers. My son was in the Marines and served in Iraq. A fellow Marine in his company suffered so badly after returning home that he finally took his own life. The Veterans Administration is overwhelmed in trying to adequately assist these injured veterans. I feel that we need to do better, we can do better, and we must do better. These soldiers have given so much. Even if we reach just one veteran, then our efforts are worth it."
WE WANT TO HELP MORE VETERANS. IF YOU KNOW OF SOMEONE WHO YOU THINK MAY BENEFIT FROM THERAPEUTIC GARDENING PLEASE TELL THEM ABOUT US! AS JASON LANDRY, PRESIDENT OF THE VETERANS GARDEN AND FORMER MARINE SAID, “WHY NOT GIVE IT A TRY AND SEE IF YOU LIKE IT? IF YOU LIKE IT GREAT, IF NOT NO WORRIES.” AT THE VERY LEAST THERE ARE OTHER VETERANS, THEIR FAMILIES AND VOLUNTEERS THAT MAY HAVE GONE THROUGH WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH.

I am so happy to be able to help support the Veterans Garden. It’s such a pleasure to look out the windows of our offices and see the Garden take shape.
